Table of Contents
Well, its been a few months since I did a ‘housekeeping’ post. And one reason for that is my new ‘Table of Contents’. It lists all (well, most) of my posts, so y’all can just go there to see what’s up.
So I’m not even going to think of trying to list all my posts in this ‘housekeeping’ post, just go over how and where things are going.
State of Letter Exchanges
Letter exchanges are one of the pillars of this Substack. I not only love doing them, but I think they are vitally important. And I’ve had some excellent partners, and am looking forward to more. If you know of a subject you’d like to discuss, and think we would have interestingly different points of view, hey, comment!
My biggest letter exchange so far as been with Andrew | Dad Explains . Haven’t heard from him in a while, though. Hopefully he hasn’t died and forgot to tell me. Pizza and Sushi with Fallible Father has also been wonderful.
Patriarchy with J.S. Kasimir , Monogamy with J. Daniel Sawyer , Parenting with Just plain Rivka and so many more have been fascinating.
State of Stories
I am currently adding weekly to Article 17 (Mondays), Contract Marriage (Fridays), and Island People (Wednesday) stories. The Oracle at Toko Ri is on hold, and I have several others ready to go when I get to the end of these.
I have been enjoying Thorny Thursday, Warrior Wednesday, Sci-Friday groups.
Christian Fiction Writer’s Circle
We are working on a group called the Christian Fiction Writers Circle. So far we have a few people that want to join, and I’m working on the logistics.

Tags?
When I first got on Substack ‘they’ said that the thing to do was to make sections. And I have found them helpful. But now they are saying sections are passé, and to do ‘tags’. Sigh.
Podcasting
So I am trying to put audio on all of my posts. And then make a duplicate ‘podcast’ post. Trying. Catching up for some, hardly started for others.
AI
If you have been following my stack at all you will know that I love to use old, public domain, paintings to ‘illustrate’ my work. Some of my stories, however, don’t lend themselves to that, so I have been experimenting with AI ‘paintings’… with very mixed results :)

I'd keep the sections, because the tags don't work as advertised. I've put fiction, fantasy, serial on every post and none of them are in those sections. In fact those tag sections have everything but what's tagged.
I wish more people would use sections. It would make it easier to find what you're looking for.
