Hi Von! My two cents: In the only context in which the definition of "evolution" matters, the term is used with the implied definition: "the natural, undirected process of nature that produced every current living thing from a first living thing (whose cause remains unexplained).

I developed The Natural Selection Paradox to demonstrate logically that natural selection--the "magic sauce" of evolutionary theory--is not scientifically defensible. I invite comments and criticism. www.naturalselectionparadox.com
