Island People is a young adult fantasy book centring on a young prince. The book starts with his kidnapping and follows his adventures as he not only escapes from his kidnapper but gains critical allies and friends.
The entire book is scheduled on Substack, and there are several sequels. This is a book I wrote years ago, so it is in a bit of a rough form. Critiques and comments are more than welcome, they are requested.

“My Lord, you are banished from my house, you and yours, to the third generation.”
Lord Gersham stared in shock. The ancient curse, pronounced against him? He burst out with, “But, what have I done?” (Elioenai, and his Daughter standing by his side, both congratulated themselves that they had not already arranged things with this young Lord. The way he totally lost his presence of mind in this situation betrayed him as a fool. Surely he could have just bowed and left honourably.)
“You have plotted high treason, and in my house.”
Lord Gersham reeled in shock, and burst out, foolishly, with, “Who dares accuse me of such a thing? I will prove myself against him!”
“I am afraid you will not have that pleasure,” Elioenai replied, coldly, “It is my Daughter herself who accuses you. Or would you challenge her truthfulness?”
At this even Lord Gersham, in his blind emotion, realised that all was lost. Casting himself back on custom (as he would have been wiser to do in the beginning) he bowed and left.
