Had to hunt as I'm bad for not liking posts (new to Substack and bad at social media) but I will nominate: https://thestrangenesskit.substack.com/p/spume by: @murphybybeckett

So, two things missing:

1) Has the author participated in Sci-Friday? and

2) Have you?

Please provide links. Or someone else can.

Oh! My bad. My note seems to be a dead link on mobile? But I was in last weeks newsletter. As for my nomintation, here is their link: https://substack.com/@murphybybeckett/note/c-96877666?r=jk460

Okay, let's see if I've got it right, Von:

I nominate: Music of the Spheres (2)

And a link to a Sci-Friday note I made:

So, you nominated a story by someone who has participated in Sci-Friday (they are on the list I post every week), it is not a story you wrote, and you are a Sci-Friday participant.

Yup. Nominated. Now other's who have participated should respond here with their 'vote'. Remember, only one vote. I'm counting nominations as votes.

Got it! Thanks, Von :-)

Can I nominate a story that's been published for a while but dug up again for Sci-Friday? If so, I'd like to nominate this story: https://josephwknowles.substack.com/p/the-search

Here's the Sci-Friday post: https://substack.com/@josephwknowles/note/c-98734304

Looks good.

This is from a few months ago, and might not be SF, but Walter does other SF stuff, so I think it counts.

I'm sharing this comment to Notes, so I hope that counts for the Sci-Friday post.

I'm going to nominate this one: https://aroundscifi.substack.com/p/at-1225-pm by Michael Morgan (see comment above), partly because it put a smile on my face. Not only that, though. It's fun. It's cool. It's (cyber-)punky. It's bizarre. And it's snappily written. And all in less than, what, 1000 words? That's craft, that is. Go on, read it.

And here is a note from me from a sci-friday: https://substack.com/@inadifferentplace/note/c-96919959

Did I get it right?

Von's avatar

Yes. And now you drum up people to agree with you and ‘vote’ by commenting as such under your comment :)

Right - got it! Some sharing and some notes shall have to be undertaken...

I didn’t mention this, but it would be good to perhaps say why you think it is good. Then others who come along will have an idea as to whether to read it etc.

That's a very good point - tell you what, I'll edit my original comment. Seems the easiest way.
