So, they have a date-night at 14:30. That would be 2:30pm. Late afternoon would 16:30-18:30 (4:30p-6:30p,) and night would be 19:00 to 23:00 or 7p-11p.
I didn't check your version of timekeeping, but I shouldn't be that far off, depending upon if the Ephymra has a 24 hour rotational period.
Full confession... I haven't worked very hard on the time issues.
My current operation theory is that all planets use a 24 hour day, and they change the length of the hours. I'm assuming that Ephemera's day is shorter than ours, and Libertas's is longer. I am totally open to rewrite on those issues.
On Ephemera they basically ONLY have casual sex. Altho all sex is hedged about with a series of obligations and quid pro quo. That is the culture I am exploring.
Oh no, I got confused about what chapter this was. I don’t know why it is when Substack does comments. It doesn’t keep the actual post on top. It makes you go to a different screen. I find that super annoying.

Is "snip up" in your glossary? In context, it doesn't seem to make sense as an email.
They certainly do have casual sex, don't they? "I want to learn about this planet, and btw let's have sex."
It is now :)

By the way, is it just me or have you skipped about a dozen chapters?
On my stuff or yours? Either way, I don't *think* so. I did post on one of your latest ones about quotation marks, but I don't think that counts.

I can see why you'd get confused, considering that both this post and your latest have a man visiting her. With vastly different expectations.
