Thanks providing some reccomended readings. My wife and I are trying to start a collection of kid's books that we can trust will be spiritually and morally beneficient for our children. The little britches series is great. I will have to dive into some of these as well.

I hope you enjoy them. One of my goals in this series is to continue to add to the bibliography a lot of books that my family has loved and I think have been valuable.

I try to train yet have some boundaries in place when I let them run. Today my daughter was climbing on the other side of a wheelchair ramp.

I was the safety net nearby so she didn't hurt herself. Nor sure if it was a good decision or a bad one, but she learned dad will catch her.

I am preparing my children for a mean, mean world, in which some crazy percentage of people - confirmed by recent events - hates them for being part of 0.2% of the population. I am not raising them with illusions. I am an old school fairy tale scholar - not the sissified, watered down versions from the 19th century to Disney. No, the real ones in which straying into the woods will get you raped cooked and eaten by witches and demons.
