She spent as long as she dared eating, then turned to find Tom, again talking with the chaplain, but with his eyes on her. Seeing she was done, he bowed to the chaplain, and started across the room.
I just happened upon it so I did not read any other chapters-definitely will. It stood alone very nicely for me though I missed some of the context, I was immediately pulled into the dance dynamic between the two mains 😊
Question: Is it Article II or Article IV she's concerned about? Or both?
Well, she has consented, however unwillingly, to be his wife, and neither one of them has run off screaming into the night, so that's progress, I suppose.
And even poor Medinia has someone to dance with. 💃 I hope she's enjoying herself.
Things do happen fast aboard ship, don't they? (And I know it's mostly because we're getting it piecemeal, but it seems like this dance is going on forever.)
