OK, well, I’m a little confused. How do you write Christian fiction with Orthodox apologetics in the Horror, Paranormal, and Occult genres?

Ok, so, just to clarify…

You are saying that the Orthodox Church believes in a spiritual heirarchy, active in our world (like, angels, demons, etce). And that you wish to write fiction which reveals this spiritual level? So, kind of like ‘This Present Darkness’ but for the Orthodox?

You will at least need to agree to the Apostle's Creed in order for me to put you in the member's list :)

I don’t know what that is, but I am currently preparing to become Roman Catholic

this should suffice von, btw your "confession" identifies the papacy as the antichrist.

welcome, welcome in the catholic faith, Megha! i am a convert too!

Yes, I am aware of that. But it is helpful for there to be a 'confession' that can be, as you did, easily looked up and referenced.

point being, if you want to start a baptist writers group around a specific confession then i get it. but there is no specific meeting point between the various traditions thus an attempt to make one and police is rife with internal contradicitons. if she says shes converting then she affirms or will affirm the creed even if she hasn´t studied it yet.

Yup. But I was asking her to list the creed... its name. Is there a 'Catholic Statement of Faith' that she affirms? More than one?

That way someone else can look it up and say, "Oh, so you believe in X".

I know a lot of Catholics that don't actually affirm any Catholic creed. Indeed I am a better Catholic than they are. (Being against birth control and abortion).

Because Dan works on the stack as well. He writes the Varcola story, the Fairy-story analysis and other essays on Tuesdays, all the Disney stuff is usually his work.

Any time you see his name in the title it's his, anytime there's none it's my work. He's also doing the Dragon-Ball essays and other anime/manga stuff and super-hero stuff on the stack.
