Since I don't currently have any writing projects going that would qualify for this, I would be here just to help with the editing/critiquing. But if that level of participation is acceptable, I'm in.
I think I will need to write up some details of 'participation'. Certainly I'm not thinking of requiring anyone to submit work. Let me know if you have thoughts about what you would like to do.
Well, one of my goals is to get Christians to think about making their writing Christian. But certainly you don't need to submit anything for crit that you don't think meets the Crit-eria.
Count me in. My stories all assume a Christian worldview, including my ongoing fantasy serial (which takes place Before Christ in a faraway world). And I'm definitely looking to improve.
I'm definitely interested. I wrote two short novels for children. It's part of a series for young children. I didn't get much traction, so it's been sitting on the back burner. If you manage to create a group, it could encourage writers to create such much needed fiction.
I would like to be included in the Partial category. Would there be opportunities to move into other categories at a future date? I don’t write a lot of Christian fiction right now, but might step into it in the future.
Interesting, count me in that is if you'd count my work as Christian given that it didn't start out Christian but is headed there in its philosophy, ideas, and metaphysics on top of the larger powers at play.
Well, it isn’t a question of my judgement, but of your goals. If your goal is to write Christian Fiction, then head on over to the Members page and put in your bio:
I think given the nature of my use of mythologies, of pagan stories and goal of gifting to Scotland, France, & Rome their own mythologies I should abstain until the truly Christian elements come out near the end of the Second Darkspire volume. Your club is a goal, to me and not something my stories may qualify as yet. They do not feel Christian, though I wish them to be. Howard & Tolkien achieved a perfect synthesis, I have yet to.
J'espere que tu comprends, but hope you understand if I insist on helping where possible.
Alright, I chose to apply, and while I'm revising a great deal (I know of it hahaha), I'm intent on having mythological ideas through and through but what lies deeper is the mystery of God. Yggdrasill the world-tree and source of 'mana' is in reality a 'shell' of sorts and has conscious will with the gods being more in line with the Ainur/Maia & Vala of Tolkien's world or so I'm planning.
I'm aiming to fuse myths and Christianity, in my tales as said. We'll see if that qualifies hahaha.
As said I've mixed feelings about my own places in things, but will work to shed light on the group and have applied as a writer. We'll see though.
Indeed, one of my goals is to provide beta reading to address this exact thing: how to make our works more ‘Christian’. Not necessarily ‘preach the gospel on every page’, but addressing Christian themes, and moving the audience toward a Christian answer. I doubt many people who see my ‘Contract Marriage’ think of it as Christian.
Well, get over to the Members page and sign up :)

I'm interested. I'm not writing any fiction as of yet. So I'd be in the nonfiction group.
Well, I don't have any groups yet :)
Interested!
Well, help me get out the word and lets see if we can get something organised :)

I would be interested, though as someone who seeks to merely start writing

I've edited the post to talk about various categories of participants:

Well, I'm not sure my work is Christian fiction. At all. Otherwise, I would be interested.

This sounds like a great idea. Definitely interested.

Great. We have several interested people.

Yup

You know, there is such a thing as revising :)
And our club is intended to include readers, not just writers.
But it’s up to you :)

Ohhhh that’s a great idea! I could definitely use help in that regard!
